Pakistani superstar Mahira Khan is once again the subject of marriage rumors. This time, the reports claim that she will be tying the knot for the second time in September.
The rumors began after local media outlets published reports that Khan’s wedding ceremony would be held at a famous hill station in Punjab with close relatives and friends in attendance. The report added that the actress would get married to her close and old friend Salim Karim.
However, Khan’s manager and team member Anushay Talha Khan has denied the rumors, calling them “irresponsible journalism.” She said that the reports have been published without an official statement from the actress’s family or team.
This is not the first time that the news of Khan’s marriage has circulated on social media. Four years ago, it was rumored that the Humsafar artiste was set to wed Karim in Turkey. However, the Bol-actress denied the reports at the time.
Khan was married to Ali Askari in 2007, but their relationship ended after a separation in 2015. From her first marriage, the actor gave birth to her son, Azlan, who is now 13 years old.
It remains to be seen whether Khan will actually get married next month. However, the rumors have certainly sparked a lot of interest in the actress’s personal life.
In the meantime, Khan is busy with her work. She recently wrapped up the shooting of her upcoming film, “Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad,” with Fahad Mustafa. She is also set to star in the upcoming web series, “Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga.”
