The makers of Ranbir Kapoor’s recently released ‘Animal’ have reportedly planned a sequel for the film. Hints about the sequel were dropped in the post-credits scenes of the film, which hit theaters on Friday.
The film, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna, received mixed reviews from critics, with some calling it misogynistic. However, it opened to a strong box office collection.
The post-credits scenes suggest that the sequel will be a darker and bloodier affair. The title of the sequel is yet to be revealed, but it could be called ‘Animal Park’.
In the post-credits scenes, Ranbir Kapoor’s character, Aziz, is introduced as a professional butcher and the brother of Abrar (Bobby Deol). He vows to avenge his brother’s death from Vijay (Kapoor).
Aziz asks Tripti Dimri’s Zoya if he looks like Vijay, suggesting that he may have undergone plastic surgery to look like the protagonist. This could lead to a more violent and gory showdown between the two characters.
The sequel will be co-written and directed by South Indian filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who also directed the original film.
Fans of the film will be eagerly awaiting more details about the sequel.
