In a recent interview, veteran actor Jackie Shroff discussed how movies ultimately experimented with him. Jackie asserted that he has never turned down a film and added that he doesn’t distinguish between leading and supporting roles in movies. He used the Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai film Devdas as an example and said his recital as Chunnilal was ‘fantastic.’
Jackie Shroff has been working in movies for more than 40 years. Around 220 films in 13 languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Konkani, Odia, Gujarati, and English, are to his credit. Jackie received appreciation for his portrayal of Shah Rukh’s pal Chunnilal in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Devdas, despite receiving little screen time.
