Pakistani actress Aiman Khan has paid an emotional tribute to victims of several devastating tragedies in Pakistan, sharing a series of illustrations that have left many people deeply moved.
Through the artwork, Aiman remembered people whose lives were tragically cut short, including Mir Raza Ali Khan, toddler Aizal, six-year-old Muhammad Wali, digital media executive Hina Javed and 14 newborn babies who died in a fire at PIMS Hospital in Islamabad.
The tribute takes viewers through a series of emotional illustrations carrying messages such as “Lord I’m One,” followed by “Lord I’m Two,” “Lord I’m Three” and “Lord I’m Four.”
Each illustration represents a different victim or tragedy. Together, the images create a powerful reminder of the human stories behind several cases that have deeply affected communities across Pakistan.
One of the artworks remembers 25-year-old Mir Raza Ali Khan, the owner of Karachi-based dessert business Wafflix. Raza reportedly went missing in July, before his body was later discovered in Gulistan-e-Jauhar.
His death generated widespread concern, with questions being raised about the initial investigation and post-mortem process. His family has continued to seek answers and justice over the circumstances surrounding his death.
Another illustration remembers Aizal, an 18-month-old girl whose death shocked many people in Karachi. According to reports, the toddler was taken outside on the pretext of purchasing something before being brought back unconscious.
She later died from her injuries, while a suspect was taken into custody in connection with the case.
Aiman’s tribute also remembers six-year-old Muhammad Wali, who went missing in Karachi and was subsequently found dead. Police reportedly arrested a suspect identified as Hamza as part of the investigation.
The third case represented in the artwork is that of Hina Javed, a 45-year-old digital media executive who was found dead at her home in Rawalpindi’s Lalkurti area in August.
Her death initially involved conflicting accounts. However, a post-mortem examination reportedly revealed injuries on her body. Police later arrested her husband and a domestic worker in connection with the murder investigation.
The final tribute focuses on one of the most painful recent incidents involving newborns in Pakistan. A fire broke out in the nursery of PIMS Hospital in Islamabad on August 26, resulting in the deaths of 14 newborn babies, while one baby survived.
The incident prompted an investigation and renewed concerns about fire safety and emergency preparedness in hospital facilities, particularly areas caring for vulnerable newborns.
Rather than focusing on graphic details, Aiman’s artwork centers on remembrance. The simple illustrations bring together several unrelated tragedies and highlight the families and loved ones left behind.
The emotional impact becomes stronger through the wording used across the illustrations. Messages such as “Lord I’m One” and “Lord I’m Two” create the impression of voices being remembered one after another.
The final artwork carries the words “From My Home,” following the earlier “Lord I’m 500 Miles” frame. The sequence gives the tribute an additional emotional dimension, reflecting separation from home, family and loved ones.
