PML-N politician Saqib Chadhar has made fresh claims about his ongoing dispute with Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal, alleging that an initial settlement demand of Rs20 crore was later reduced to Rs11 crore.
Speaking about the controversy, Saqib rejected allegations of harassment and presented his version of the dispute as a matter involving the alleged circulation of private videos and subsequent settlement discussions.
According to Saqib, the issue concerns videos that he says were shared without permission. He referred to relevant legal provisions concerning the sharing of a person’s video without their consent.
Saqib also addressed videos involving himself and Momina that have circulated on social media. He claimed the recordings were ordinary videos made while the two were sitting in a car and were not inappropriate.
He further alleged that Momina had recorded some of the videos herself. According to his account, one of the videos was shown to his wife during a phone conversation in either 2021 or 2022.
Saqib claimed that he objected to the possibility of the videos being shared online. He said he subsequently contacted Momina’s sister, Ramsha, and asked her to prevent the videos from being posted, arguing that he also had a reputation to protect.
Alleged Rs20 Crore Settlement Demand
A major part of Saqib’s latest statement concerns alleged settlement negotiations.
He claimed that Momina, through her lawyer Adnan Ahsan, initially sought Rs20 crore to settle the matter. Saqib said he considered the demand excessive, following which the alleged amount was reduced to Rs11 crore.
According to Saqib, he asked for the demand to be provided in writing. He claimed that documents were subsequently given to him explaining the basis for the requested payment.
Saqib highlighted the difference between the alleged initial and revised amounts while questioning the accusations against him and asking, “Who is the blackmailer?”
The settlement figures and the circumstances surrounding the alleged negotiations remain claims made by Saqib and have not been independently verified.
Claims About Their Past Relationship
Saqib also provided details about his past relationship with Momina Iqbal.
He claimed that they first met at an event in 2019, where he proposed marriage to the actress. According to his account, Momina accepted the proposal, later met his family and became engaged to him in 2020.
Saqib said Momina knew from the beginning that he was already married, while he claimed he was unaware that she had previously been divorced.
He further alleged that Momina maintained regular contact with his wife, including lengthy phone conversations. Saqib said he possessed evidence relating to those conversations, although the material has not been independently examined.
He also made controversial remarks about Momina’s career and claimed that she gained recognition partly because of his support. These statements are part of his account of the dispute and have not been independently established.
Claims Involving Ramsha
Saqib also discussed his relationship with Ramsha, saying that he regarded her as a sister.
He claimed that he supported her education by helping her travel to Australia and later provided her with employment at his company there.
According to Saqib, a dispute subsequently developed in Australia. He also referred to a separate harassment-related case involving one of his friends and alleged that a claim worth around $1 million was filed.
He claimed that the matter eventually concluded with a substantial settlement before Ramsha returned to Pakistan. However, these allegations have not been independently verified.

Saqib said he has evidence to support his version of events. However, the material he referred to has not been independently examined, and the claims made in his statement should therefore be treated as allegations rather than established facts.
The latest statement has introduced another dimension to the public dispute between Saqib Chadhar and Momina Iqbal.
