Falak Shabir Turns Dubai Into a Dream With Lavish Pre-Launch Soirée for Chahat Meri

Falak Shabir transformed Dubai’s Gattopardo into a cinematic dreamscape as he hosted an intimate pre-launch celebration for his upcoming album, Chahat Meri. The event, held yesterday, marked the beginning of what is being positioned as the singer’s most ambitious project yet, featuring ten tracks that blend romance, emotion and Falak’s signature melodic style.

A reel shared from the soirée captured the aesthetic of the night, offering viewers a glimpse into Gattopardo’s warm, luxurious interiors. Amber-toned drapes framed the space, velvet seating added richness, and sunlight poured through tall windows to complete the ambiance. The culinary display mirrored the elegance of the evening, with curated small plates including burrata topped with roasted tomatoes and pesto, a crisp Caesar sprinkled with shaved Parmesan, and a refreshing potato-and-apple salad brightened with citrus. Dessert arrived as a classic tiramisu, dusted with cocoa and finished with a stencilled design.

The gathering doubled as a listening preview. Falak’s recently released single Sajna Dour has already gained significant traction online with more than 1.3 million views and hundreds of comments, setting an optimistic tone for the album’s arrival. Attendees were treated to exclusive snippets from the upcoming tracks, creating an atmosphere that felt both celebratory and heartfelt.

Excitement around Chahat Meri began building last month when Falak released a moving album teaser on October 2, 2025. The teaser opened with a haunting voiceover urging the listener to wake from a dream. The visuals that followed featured deeply personal moments between Falak and his wife, actress Sarah Khan. Their shared scenes included soft gestures, tender smiles, and symbolic imagery like an exchanged rose and a locket containing their photographs. Footage from their wedding was interwoven, highlighting the emotional foundation of the album.

The tone shifted dramatically when the voiceover insisted on waking up, cutting to a shot of Falak falling backward into water, suggesting a struggle between dream and reality. A calm voice then countered the narrative, declaring, “No… I’m living in my dream,” before the teaser returned to Falak and Sarah in a serene embrace. The message was clear: the dream he is clinging to is the life he shares with his wife.

The full album, to be released on November 27, 2025, includes tracks such as Chahat Meri, Ashiq Tere, Allah Hu, Fake Love, Naina Tere, Hum Sab Jantay Hain, Mandiyaan 2, Hanju and Ishq. For fans, the project symbolizes not just musical evolution but a profound personal tribute.

Falak Shabir, celebrated for his romantic ballads, has remained a staple of Pakistan’s pop scene for more than a decade. His marriage to Sarah Khan in 2020 became a beloved story among fans, and their daughter Alyana was born in 2021. Speculation about the couple expecting a second child has circulated online, though neither has confirmed the rumours.

With Chahat Meri, Falak appears ready to offer listeners a deeply personal chapter of his artistry, blending emotion, storytelling and intimate glimpses into his real-life love story.
