Khloé Kardashian Reveals Secrets Behind Family’s Lavish Christmas Eve Party

Khloé Kardashian and her mother, Kris Jenner, recently shared details about the Kardashian-Jenner family’s extravagant Christmas Eve party, one of Hollywood’s most talked-about holiday traditions. The discussion took place on Khloé’s podcast Khloe in Wonderland, giving fans an inside look at the planning, costs, and scale of the celebration.

Khloé, 41, explained that the party is a long-standing family tradition dating back to the 1970s, long before the family rose to international fame. “Every year we do a traditional Christmas Eve party that we’ve done since before I’ve been born. My mom has always hosted them, and then once her kids got older, she handed the baton off when you felt comfortable that we would represent you properly,” she said. Initially, the hosting duties rotated among siblings’ homes.

Kris Jenner, 70, described the party as a massive undertaking requiring extensive planning, creativity, and resources. She recalled early family photoshoots done before social media existed, with elaborate Christmas outfits and staged photography sessions that grew larger as the family expanded.

The family holds multiple planning meetings in the weeks leading up to Christmas Eve. Attendance is optional, but participation in decision-making is mandatory. Khloé emphasized, “Not everyone shows up, and that’s fine, but if you don’t show up, you don’t get a say.”

When it comes to financing the lavish affair, Khloé confirmed that all siblings share the cost equally. Kris also highlighted the evolution of the event into a high-profile celebration for friends and family alike. “These parties are so epic and they’ve grown into this enormous proportion. Our friends who’ve never celebrated Christmas love to come,” she said. The celebration often includes a DJ, live performances, and dancing, with previous events featuring artists such as Babyface.

Kris noted that as the children grew and expanded their social circles, the party grew from a smaller gathering to hosting hundreds of guests. “When you guys got older and you grew up, you had your own friends, and suddenly there was a hundred more people, now there’s a couple hundred, two to 300 people at a Christmas party,” she said.

Despite the glamour, Khloé admitted she prefers not to host, expressing relief that the party was held at Kendall Jenner’s home this year instead of hers. She said, “You think I want people in my home? No. No! I don’t want the party.”

The Kardashians’ Christmas Eve celebration continues to be a symbol of family tradition, celebrity glamour, and meticulously organized holiday fun, drawing attention from fans and media worldwide.
