Bollywood star Ranveer Singh has made his first public appearance since welcoming his second daughter with actress Deepika Padukone.
The actor attended the Mumbai premiere of Aneet Padda’s upcoming web series Hunkkaar on Thursday, just days after he and Deepika welcomed their second child on September 19.
Ranveer arrived at the event dressed in an all-white suit and appeared in a cheerful mood as he interacted with photographers and guests.
The actor also received congratulations on the arrival of his baby daughter and posed for photographs with members of the media at the premiere.
He attended the event alongside Hunkkaar directors Karan D Kapadia and Nitya Mehra. His parents, Jagjit Singh Bhavnani and Anju Bhavnani, were also present at the premiere.
Ranveer and Deepika had already expressed their support for Hunkkaar before its release. The couple shared the series’ teaser on their respective social media platforms.
After the teaser was released, Ranveer reshared it on Instagram and praised director Karan D Kapadia’s work. His post included the enthusiastic message, “BANGGGGG!!!! LFG,” along with a tag for Kapadia.
Deepika also shared the teaser with her followers, adding to the couple’s public support for the project.
Hunkkaar features an ensemble cast that includes Aneet Padda, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Arjun Mathur, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Raghubir Yadav and Ram Kapoor.
The series centers on a 17-year-old girl whose accusation against a powerful cult leader sets off events that develop into a broader national reckoning.
The project is directed by Karan D Kapadia, Nitya Mehra and Heeraz Marfatia. Hunkkaar is scheduled to premiere on JioHotstar on September 25.
Meanwhile, Ranveer and Deepika recently expanded their family with the arrival of their second daughter.
Deepika announced the birth on Instagram by sharing an image featuring a baby footprint alongside the message, “Welcome Baby Girl.”
The couple welcomed their first daughter, Dua, in 2024. Since then, both actors have continued to maintain a strong presence in the Indian entertainment industry while occasionally sharing personal milestones with their fans.
Ranveer’s appearance at the Hunkkaar premiere marks his first public outing following the birth of his second daughter, bringing attention to both the family milestone and his support for the new series.
