Excitement is building among fans after hints surfaced that Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan could share screen space with South Indian icon Rajinikanth in the upcoming film Jailer 2. The speculation intensified following a social media post by Mohanlal’s stylist, reigniting hopes of a star-studded collaboration.
The buzz began when stylist Jishad Shamsudeen shared an AI-generated image on Instagram showing a grey-haired Shah Rukh Khan driving a car, with Mohanlal in the passenger seat and Rajinikanth alongside Shiva Rajkumar in the back. The caption hinted at fans’ anticipation, while Shamsudeen added “Kandippa irukkum” (for sure), fueling excitement that the scene could appear in Jailer 2.
Speculation about Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo has been circulating for months, though the film’s makers have yet to confirm it officially. Jailer 2, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, is the sequel to the 2023 blockbuster Jailer and will see Mohanlal reprising his role as Mathew, a close friend of Rajinikanth’s character, Muthuvel Pandian.
