Uzma Tahir Criticizes Danish Taimur, Urges Humility in Showbiz Industry

Pakistani actress Uzma Tahir has publicly criticized actor Danish Taimoor, stating that fame may have led to arrogance in his personality, while urging artists in the entertainment industry to remain humble despite success.

During a recent interview, Uzma Tahir shared her observations about changing behavior patterns within the television industry and how success can influence personal attitudes over time. She expressed concern that some actors adopt a different demeanor after achieving popularity and financial stability.

The actress stated that she has not actively worked in television dramas for the past decade, but still closely observes industry dynamics. Reflecting on her early career, she said that senior artists often maintained strict boundaries with newcomers on set.

According to her, junior actors were traditionally not allowed to sit alongside senior performers, and she suggested that such hierarchical behavior still exists in parts of the industry today.

Uzma Tahir also highlighted what she described as unequal treatment on drama sets, including separate arrangements for meals and facilities for senior actors compared to junior crew members.

While discussing industry personalities, she specifically mentioned Danish Taimur, stating that she believes “a little ego” has developed in his personality over time. She recalled his early career struggles and emphasized the importance of staying grounded despite fame.

She remarked that she had witnessed his journey from the beginning and remembered a time when he reportedly used public transport to reach work commitments before becoming a well-known television star.

Her comments quickly gained attention online, sparking discussion about professionalism, humility, and behavior within Pakistan’s entertainment industry.

Uzma Tahir also stressed that successful individuals should treat colleagues and junior staff with respect and kindness, regardless of their status in the industry. She added that maintaining humility is essential for long-term respect and credibility in show business.

In the same interview, she spoke positively about actress Sadaf Kanwal, saying that her personality and attitude align well with her own outlook.

The remarks have contributed to ongoing conversations about workplace culture in the Pakistani entertainment sector, where discussions around hierarchy, professionalism, and behavior on set frequently surface.
