Veteran actor and director Marina Khan has expressed her admiration for Hania Aamir’s stellar performance in the new ARY Digital serial ‘Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum’. The show, featuring Fahad Mustafa’s return to the small screen, has quickly captivated audiences with its engaging plot and strong character portrayals.
In her review, Khan praised Hania Aamir for her nuanced portrayal of Sharjeena, the eldest daughter in the family. “Hania took the cake for me,” Khan said. “I think she was just brilliant in the last two episodes. The way she walked after Fahad [Mustafa] dropped her and looked at the house, there were just too many shades and thoughts that you could see going through her mind.”
Khan continued, “And every scene she did after that, the shock, the helplessness, the anger, the compromise, and how she processed all those emotions, I felt, she took the cake for me.”
Hania Aamir’s performance has also impressed other industry veterans. Shamoon Abbasi and Rubina Ashraf have both commended her work in the series. Abbasi remarked, “I’ve never seen Hania perform like the way she did in these last two episodes, and it shows her learning. She was extraordinary and looked like she was acting in an international project.”
Rubina Ashraf also praised Aamir, stating, “Hania is undoubtedly a very capable actor. I’ve been her fan since her debut movie Janaan where she outshone everyone, and with all the good scripts that came her way, she never disappoints.”
‘Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum’, penned by renowned playwright Farhat Ishtiaq, is directed by Badar Mehmood, who has previously helmed successful projects like ‘Dunk’, ‘Cheekh’, ‘Balaa’, ‘Ishqiya’, ‘Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha’, and ‘Mein’. The drama airs every Monday and Tuesday in prime time on ARY Digital.
