Veteran Pakistani actor Asma Abbas has publicly criticized social media platforms and content creators for misrepresenting her sister Bushra Ansari’s comments regarding actor Feroze Khan. The distortion, she said, has created a false and sensational narrative that misleads the public.
Asma, acclaimed for her roles in dramas such as Dumpukht, Ranjha Ranjha Kardi, and Chupke Chupke, explained that Bushra Ansari’s original remarks were warm and respectful, reflecting a professional and friendly bond formed while working with Feroze Khan.

In her own words, Bushra had said: “I worked with Feroze Khan for the first time. Initially, he was a bit shy and reserved, but later, we developed a great bond. Now, he hugs me and says, ‘You’re so sweet, I can’t live without you.’ We have a loving relationship, just like that.”
However, according to Asma Abbas, these statements were deliberately misrepresented on social media, claiming that Feroze Khan had expressed romantic love for Bushra or intended to marry her. Asma strongly rejected these false narratives and condemned the unethical practices behind such sensationalism.

“There is an evilness in their brains. How can they write such false statements? How do they sleep at night? Aren’t they worried about the consequences?” she stated, highlighting her frustration with pages that manufacture controversy for clicks and views without regard for truth or reputation.
The incident has sparked broader discussions online about the dangers of misinformation, viral exaggeration, and the lack of ethical standards in digital reporting. Asma stressed that her primary concern is safeguarding her sister’s dignity and putting an end to baseless rumors.

This controversy comes amid other unrelated public attention surrounding Feroze Khan’s personal life, including a brief Instagram dispute between his current wife, Syeda Zainab, and his ex-wife, Aliza Sultan, regarding their child. Despite these surrounding issues, Asma Abbas maintained that protecting her sister from scandal-driven narratives remains the priority.

Fans and social media users are now calling for more responsible reporting, emphasizing that digital platforms must balance engagement with integrity and truthfulness.
