Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal has shared a deeply emotional response following public remarks made by her younger sister, Rimsha Iqbal, regarding the traumatic experiences their family went through after the sudden passing of their father.
Taking to Instagram, Momina posted a heartfelt statement along with a screenshot of her sister’s podcast appearance, reflecting on the pain, pressure, and scrutiny the family has faced since the tragedy. Her message highlighted both personal grief and the challenges of living life in the public eye.
The actress expressed that being a public figure has never been easy for her, stating that she endured numerous difficulties throughout her life while often remaining silent to avoid public controversy. She shared that fear of public judgment and media attention forced her to keep many painful experiences private.
Momina further revealed that the past two years following her father’s death have been particularly difficult for her and her family. She described the experience as an ongoing emotional test and emphasized that only her family and Allah fully understand the depth of their suffering.
In her emotional note, she recalled being present with her father during his final moments and described it as one of the most heartbreaking experiences of her life. She questioned the impact of public judgment and stressed that faith and divine justice are what ultimately matter in the face of hardship.

The actress also issued an apology to her younger sister and family, expressing regret that her public career may have contributed to their emotional pain. She asked for forgiveness and acknowledged the challenges they have faced as a result of her visibility in the media industry.
In a further Instagram story, Momina hinted at the possibility of revealing more details in the future, suggesting that she may eventually speak openly with evidence if necessary. Her remarks reflected frustration while also reinforcing her belief that truth and justice will eventually prevail.
The emotional response came shortly after a viral podcast clip featuring Rimsha Iqbal circulated widely online. In the interview, Rimsha recounted the family’s ordeal following their father’s sudden death from a cardiac arrest on the second day of Eid.
Rimsha also shared that she was abroad in Australia at the time and returned to Pakistan after receiving the news. She described the situation as deeply distressing, particularly the manner in which the family’s private grief was reportedly exposed in public.
According to her account, Momina Iqbal accompanied their father to the hospital, where she alleged that individuals present focused on recording videos instead of respecting the family’s privacy during a critical moment.
Rimsha further claimed that even after their father’s body was brought home, people continued to film their emotional state, making an already painful situation even more difficult for the grieving family.
The sisters’ statements have sparked widespread discussion on social media, with many users expressing sympathy and support for the family. The incident has also reignited conversations about media ethics, privacy, and the need to respect grieving families during moments of personal loss.
