Pakistani actress Iqra Aziz has voiced strong concern over the rising number of crimes against children in the country, expressing anger and deep frustration over what she describes as a continuing failure to ensure justice for victims.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, the actress reshared a post highlighting a disturbing incident involving a child and shared an emotional message questioning whether such tragedies will ever come to an end.
“Will all of this ever stop? The answer is NO, because every person in this country, including the criminal, knows they will never be caught and will never face punishment,” she wrote. She added that repeated incidents have left families feeling unsafe and forced many parents to restrict their children’s movement due to fear.
Iqra Aziz further expressed disappointment over what she described as a lack of effective legal deterrence, arguing that the justice system has failed to protect vulnerable children and ensure accountability for perpetrators of such crimes.
Her remarks reflect growing public concern over child safety and the perceived inability of institutions to prevent recurring incidents. She emphasized that while public outrage often follows such tragedies, meaningful long-term change remains limited.

The actress also referenced the widespread national reaction to the 2018 Zainab murder case in Kasur, noting that despite strong public condemnation and promises of reform at the time, many citizens still feel unsafe and disillusioned by the justice system’s outcomes.
Child protection advocates have long stressed the need for stronger enforcement mechanisms, faster legal proceedings, and improved safeguarding systems to protect minors from abuse and exploitation. Public figures speaking out on such issues often help amplify awareness and encourage dialogue around systemic reforms.
Iqra Aziz’s comments add to a growing list of celebrities and activists calling for urgent action to improve child protection laws and strengthen accountability structures in Pakistan.
