Suspect Arrested for Threatening Killer of Teen TikToker Sana Yousaf

A suspect has been arrested in Islamabad for allegedly threatening the accused killer of teen TikToker Sana Yousaf ahead of a scheduled court hearing, according to 24NewsHD. The arrest took place during proceedings at the local court, highlighting concerns about intimidation and public safety surrounding the high-profile case.

The accused, identified as Usama, reportedly warned that “orders have been taken for the murder of Omar Hayat and yours,” referring to the alleged killer of Sana Yousaf. Earlier, the same individual had delivered a threatening note to Omar Hayat’s brother-in-law.

During the court session, Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka directed legal action against the suspect and instructed the police to handle the matter according to law. When questioned, Usama claimed he had been in jail with Omar Hayat and insisted, “I have done good deeds and came to meet him.” The court rejected this explanation and ordered his custody for further investigation.

Sana Yousaf, 17, was a rising social media influencer on TikTok and Instagram, known for her content on lifestyle, culture, women’s rights, and youth issues. Her growing popularity had made her a prominent digital creator in Pakistan.

Tragically, Sana was shot and killed at her home in Islamabad in June 2025, a crime that sparked nationwide outrage and brought attention to the safety risks faced by young female influencers. Her murder reignited debates about violence against women in public life and the urgent need for protective measures for social media personalities in the country.

Authorities continue to investigate the threats and ensure the court process is conducted without intimidation, while the public remains closely following developments in this high-profile case.
